Listed below are the necessary requirements for your class to be effective and give you maximum benefits.
Have a Partner or Partners to Train With.
- Learning Kung Fu San Soo works best with a partner or partners so choose them wisely!
- Your partner/s should be as dedicated to learning San Soo as you and be someone you can count on to put in the time to learn the necessary skills to be an effective San Soo fighter.
- All partners should be enrolled in the on-line program.

Follow the Class Format For Best Results!
Each class should follow the format given below for maximum benefits and quickest advancement!
1.5 Hours of Training Per Class Broken Down as Follows
Stretching (10 - 15 minutes)
Warm up Drills (10 - 15 minutes) *drills are all done in a continuous sequence until completed.

Hand Forms (15 - 20 minutes)
- Start with hand form #1, moves 1-6 and practice them 10 times per day/7 days per week.
- Progress to the next 6 moves repeating the above step until the hand form is completed.
- Memorize each hand form you learn as they will be used for testing and advancement purposes.

Techniques and Lessons (40 - 50 minutes)
- Start with lesson #1 and the corresponding technique the lesson is focusing on.
- Work on 1 lesson per week over and over until it becomes second nature.
- Memorize each lesson and technique as they will be used for testing and advancement purposes.

Video Record Your Classes
- All students must submit a video of classes, a mimimum of twice per month, for my review so that I can see your progress, thus ensuring correct advancement in the Art of San Soo.
- Video's can be recorded many ways today. You have the choice of using many devices including, cell phones, hand held cameras, video cameras, etc.
- All video submissions done via the web for your convenience.

Below, is the criteria I will use to grade your skill levels and is based on the mastering of techniques and lessons in a particular time period, depending on what belt level you are operating from. I use the same Belt ranking criteria that I was taught from my, and other Kung Fu San Soo instructors over the last 15 years.
